How do I get there?
About 3 minutes by taxi from JR Miyajimaguchi Station. A free shuttle bus also runs from the station (every 30 minutes, 8:00-14:00 and 15:00-19:00). From the Hiroshima direction it is about 40 minutes on National Route 2 using the Nishi-Hiroshima bypass.

What is the World Heritage night cruise?
It is a cruise from the hotel's own pier to view Itsukushima Shrine and the great torii gate from the water at night. The gate standing out against the darkness is a remarkable sight. Please see the official website or check when booking for details.

Miyahama Onsen is a simple weak radon spring, rich in radon, colourless, clear, odourless and tasteless, with a smooth feel on the skin. It is said to help with neuralgia and joint pain, and keeps you warm after bathing.

What are the opening hours of the large communal baths?
The bathing halls Heian-no-Yu Miyabi and Heian-no-Yu Raku are open 6:00-8:30 (last entry), 10:00-14:30 (last entry) and 16:00-22:30 (last entry). They alternate between men and women morning and evening.
Is there a private open-air bath?
Yes, there is a private natural hot spring open-air bath with a view of the World Heritage Itsukushima Shrine. Please note that it may be unavailable in bad weather, and soap products such as shampoo and body wash cannot be used there.

How do I get to Miyajima?
Miyajimaguchi Port (the ferry pier) is about 5 minutes by car, and a free shuttle bus runs to JR Miyajimaguchi Station. From Miyajimaguchi Port the ferry to Miyajima takes about 10 minutes.
