Founded in 1935 (Showa 10), the hotel was born as a resort hotel for foreign visitors the year after Japan's first national park designation. It features a Swiss chalet-style exterior and warm, rustic mountain lodge-style interior. It is the only classic hotel in Kyushu and prides itself on its distinguished heritage.

We have hot springs with fresh spring water direct from the source. You can enjoy outdoor bath, private bath (paid), and large communal bath. You can fully experience Unzen's sulfurous hot spring waters.

Unzen Hell is about a 6-minute walk from the hotel. We are conveniently located with walking access to the tourist attractions of Unzen hot spring town.

We operate a complimentary shuttle bus once daily between Nagasaki Airport and JR Isahaya Station and our hotel. It is available by advance reservation only; please contact us by the day before your arrival. Outbound: Nagasaki Airport 14:40 departure, JR Isahaya Station 15:10 departure, hotel arrival 16:10. Return: hotel departure 12:00.
