How do I get there from Shinjuku?
By train, Shinjuku to Otsuki to Fujisan Station (the Chuo Line and the Fujikyu Railway) takes about 2 hours. By highway bus, Shinjuku to Fujisan Station on the Chuo Kosoku bus takes about 2 hours. By car, Shinjuku to Kawaguchiko IC on the Chuo Expressway takes about 1 hour 30 minutes.
Is there a free shuttle from Fujisan Station?
A free shuttle bus runs from Fujisan Station on the Fujikyu Railway (formerly Fujiyoshida Station) between 13:00 and 18:00. Call us when you arrive at the station and we will collect you. Return departures the next day leave every 30 minutes from 8:00.

It is a dynamic live taiko drumming performance held every evening. The spirited Reiho Taiko show is very popular with guests, who may watch it as part of their stay.

Stays on 31 December and 1 January must be booked as multiple nights. We cannot accept single-night bookings on those dates.

What kinds of baths are there?
There is the rooftop open-air bath Fujisan, 35 m above the ground (opened in November 2010), plus a large communal bath, open-air baths, a private bath and a sauna. Bathing with a view of Mount Fuji is especially popular.

What are the highlights of the garden, and how large is it?
The grounds contain a large garden of about 25,000 tsubo (about 82,600 square metres), with undulating scenery set against Mount Fuji. The cherry blossom is at its best from early to mid-April and the autumn colours from early to mid-November.
