How do I get there from Isawa-Onsen Station?
About 10 minutes' walk from JR Isawa-Onsen Station, or about 5 minutes' walk from the Isawa highway bus stop. A pick-up service is also available; please arrange it in advance.
How do I get there from Shinjuku?
About 90 minutes from Shinjuku on the Azusa or Kaiji limited express, then about 10 minutes' walk from Isawa-Onsen Station.

What is distinctive about the hot spring?
Water from our own free-flowing source on the grounds, Kanjuku-no-Yu, is piped directly to the baths and runs continuously, with no recirculation, no added water, no reheating and no chlorination. The source water pouring out of the tubs is a sight in itself, and the showers use the same water. It is an alkaline simple spring.
Can I drink the spring water?
There is a drinking fountain to the left of the entrance where you can drink the source water.
Is there an open-air bath?
There are separate open-air baths for men and women. Every bath is free-flowing spring water. The men's bath pairs an indoor bath called Kaki-no-Yu with an open-air bath.

What sightseeing spots are nearby?
Isawa Onsen is the largest hot spring area in Yamanashi Prefecture. Nearby are Fuefukigawa Fruit Park (about 15 minutes by car from Isawa-Onsen Station) and Takeda Shrine (about 30 minutes by car). Fruit picking, such as grapes and peaches, can also be enjoyed.
