The spring water is hydro-ferrous bicarbonate (iron-rich hot spring) with a reddish-brown colour, sourced as pure flowing hot spring water. Known as the "Hidden Hot Spring of the Warring States," it is said that Asai Nagamasa and Oichi healed their wounds here during the Sengoku period. There is a large communal bath and an open-air bath.

The private open-air bath in your room is not hot spring water, but herbal bath water from medicinal plants sourced from Mount Ibuki. Hot spring water (pure flowing spring) is available in the large communal bath and open-air bath.

Odani Castle ruins from the Sengoku period are very close by, where you can experience history connected to Asai Nagamasa. The Kōhoku area, known as "Land of Kannon," has many Buddhist statues scattered throughout. Nagahama city centre (Kurogane Square, Nagahama Castle) is accessible by car in approximately 20–30 minutes.

Kaiseki (multi-course Japanese dinner) featuring local seasonal ingredients is standard, with options including Ōmi beef shabu-shabu and hot pot plans.
