Is there a shuttle service from the station?
We operate a complimentary shuttle bus from JR Ogoto Onsen Station. Please call us after you arrive at the station (advance reservation not required). We will pick you up in about 7 minutes.

Do you have guest rooms with private hot spring baths?
We offer rooms with private open-air hot spring baths overlooking Lake Biwa, fed with water from Ogoto Onsen. These are luxury rooms where you can enjoy the hot spring while taking in views of the lake.

What facilities does the large bath have?
Both the men's and women's large baths are equipped with open-air baths. There is also a foot bath overlooking the water mirror garden courtyard, a post-bath lounge, and a newly installed barrel sauna from Northern Europe (with self-pouring steam option).
What is the spring water quality?
We source weakly alkaline simple hot spring water from Ogoto Onsen (known as the 'beautiful skin hot spring'). The water has a high alkalinity level with a gentle touch, leaving your skin feeling smooth and supple after bathing. The water is said to be beneficial for neuralgia, muscle pain, poor circulation and fatigue recovery.

Are there tourist attractions nearby?
We have convenient access to Enryaku-ji Temple on Mount Hiei (a UNESCO World Heritage site), Hiyoshi Taisha and Saikoku-ji Temple. A shuttle bus service is also available from our facility to the cable car station. Biwako Valley (Biwako Terrace) is about 35 minutes by car.

We serve kaiseki (multi-course Japanese dinner) made with seasonal ingredients. We specialise in dishes featuring Omi beef and other Shiga-produced ingredients. Breakfast is buffet-style, featuring items such as wood-fired pizza and yuba shabu.
