What are the rooms like?
All 52 rooms have a large hinoki-style bathtub of hiba wood and tatami flooring. The design takes its theme from the phrase what is hidden is the flower, from the Noh treatise Fushikaden, and satisfies the senses through the beauty of gold leaf and the feel of wood.

You can enjoy natural hot spring water in every room, or in rooms with a private hot spring bath. The spa also has treatment rooms with natural hot spring water and a steam sauna.

The hotel stands right beside Kiyomizudera, within walking distance. Kodaiji, Yasaka Shrine and Gion are also reachable on foot.
