What is the BEKKAN, renovated in May 2025?
On 1 May 2025 our sister hotel Kujukushima Seaside Terrace Hotel & Spa Hanamizuki reopened as Hotel Flags Sasebo Kujukushima the BEKKAN, with a new large bathing hall, an outdoor pool, a sauna, a relaxation space and a premium lounge for hotel guests.
Can anyone use the premium lounge?
The premium lounge on the second floor is for guests of the BEKKAN only, serving drinks including sake from Kyushu, along with finger food.

What kind of hot spring is it?
It is natural hot spring water brought from Hirado Onsen, one of Nagasaki's celebrated springs, a sodium bicarbonate spring said to help with fatigue and poor circulation. The women's bath also has a shampoo bar where you can choose the scent and effect you prefer.
What are the opening hours of the large bathing hall?
The bathing hall is open 15:00-24:00 and 6:00-9:00 the following morning.
