How do I get there from Sasebo Station, and is there a free transfer?
There is a free shuttle bus from the Minato Exit of Sasebo Station (departing at 35 minutes past each hour, 10:00-21:00, except the 14:00 hour; no booking needed). From the hotel it departs on the hour. By car it is about 15 minutes from JR Sasebo Station, and it is 7 minutes' walk from Saikai Pearl Sea Resort.

What are the qualities of the hot spring?
Kujukushima Onsen comes from our own source 153 m underground and is highly regarded by specialists and hot spring enthusiasts as a celebrated water containing four or more kinds of minerals at high concentration, which is rare nationally. There are four different facilities: 100% source water with no added water, a moisturising seawater bath, a sauna, and a cold spring from the source.

Is it convenient for the Kujukushima sightseeing boats and other attractions?
The boarding point for the Kujukushima sightseeing boats (including Japan's first electric vessel Mirai and the Pearl Queen) is about 5 minutes by car. The location is also convenient for Huis Ten Bosch and sightseeing in Sasebo.

What food is served?
Our chef prepares kaiseki cuisine using produce from the mountains and the sea, centred on fresh seafood from Kujukushima and Sasebo. The heartfelt Japanese breakfast using ingredients bought fresh at the market each morning is also well received. In summer only, you can also enjoy tarai somen noodles served in a cave.
