Complimentary shuttle service is available from JR Takayama Main Line Gero Station (reservation required; approximately 4 minutes by car). The facility is located on high ground in the Gero hot spring area, so it is about 15–20 minutes on foot from the station, though shuttle service is more convenient. From Tomika-Seki Interchange on the Tokai Ring Expressway via Route 41, it takes approximately 70 minutes.

Check-in is 15:00–18:00 and check-out is 11:00. Times may vary depending on your plan.

The main building has a barrier-free suite room (Japanese-Western style room with open-air bath) that can be entered while using a wheelchair. The dining room is also wheelchair-accessible, and there is a separate wheelchair-accessible toilet. The indoor and open-air baths are also equipped for wheelchair access.

The main building welcomes guests with children. However, the annex "Yuuka-tei" does not accept children in elementary school or younger. If anyone in your party has food allergies, please consult with the accommodation in advance.

An annex designed as a quiet, adults-only private space. It offers rooms with garden open-air baths and standard rooms (10 tatami mats and 10 + 3 tatami mats), plus a dedicated private bath. Children under elementary school age cannot stay here.

9 of our 16 rooms have private open-air baths. These feature Shigaraki ware or black granite baths with different styles, and you can bathe while enjoying views of Nakane-yama, known as "Gero Fuji."

Gero City has introduced a lodging tax effective October 1, 2025 (Reiwa 7). For accommodation charges (room-only rate) under ¥5,000, the tax is ¥100 per person per night; for ¥5,000 or more, it is ¥200. Children under 12 (including 12-year-old elementary school students) are exempt.

Day-trippers (non-guests) may use the private bath only. Advance reservation and confirmation of available times are required, so please contact us by phone beforehand.

We offer observation open-air baths (one each for men and women), indoor baths in the public bath (one each for men and women), and one private open-air bath. Bathing hours are 14:00 to 10:00 the following morning, so you can use them in the early morning or at night. Guests staying at the annex Yukaatei have access to a dedicated private bath at no charge during their stay.

Our facility is located on a high ground near the entrance of Gero Onsen Gassho Village and is within walking distance. At the village, which recreates a settlement of gassho-style farmhouses, you can enjoy the scenery of each season.

We serve seasonal multi-course kaiseki dinners called "Yojo Kaiseki," with menus changing monthly according to the seasons. Featured items include rice cooked in earthenware pots (main building) or traditional clay stoves (Yukaatei) from locally-produced "Gin no Mikazuki," a gold-award winner at the All Japan Rice Taste Evaluation Competition, and rolled omelet with locally-sourced fresh eggs. At the separate restaurant Hida Beef Tea House Shingetsu in our annex, you can also enjoy Hida beef course dishes that blend Italian and Japanese cuisine.
