Until what time can I check in?
Check-in normally begins at 15:00, and we accept arrivals until midnight, so you can still enjoy the hot spring after a late arrival.

How accessible is the inn?
We have rooms with an open-air bath designed throughout for accessibility, and the assisted private bath Haru-no-Yu, and are certified as a people-friendly inn by the national ryokan association. Guests using a wheelchair or needing assistance can stay with confidence.

Live music is performed in the inn on about 320 days a year. It is a signature service of Tamanoyu, much appreciated by guests as a form of hospitality that brings people together.

Is there a private bath?
There are four private open-air baths, free to overnight guests: three private open-air baths with a view, Pokkari Ten-no-Yu, and the accessible private bath Haru-no-Yu, equipped with a lift for guests who need assistance. The private baths (except Haru-no-Yu) are free for 40 minutes. Please book at the front desk after check-in.
What are the qualities of the hot spring?
It is natural water piped from the Asama Onsen source. You can enjoy it in the large communal bath and the private open-air baths, and the open-air bath with a view looks out over Matsumoto.
