We do not provide shuttle service. If you miss the last bus, a taxi from Yunishikawa Onsen Station will be your only option, and advance booking is required. Please allow plenty of time for your arrival.

From early December through late March, tire chains or winter tires are required. Please be aware that snow accumulation is possible due to the mountainous location.

For group bookings of 9 or more guests, cancellation fees apply as follows: 100% for same-day, no-show, or one-day prior cancellations; 90% for two days prior; 80% for three days prior; 70% for four days prior; 60% for five days prior; 50% for six days prior. Please confirm the cancellation policy for smaller groups at the time of booking.

Check-in is from 15:00 to 17:30 (last check-in at 17:30), and check-out is at 10:00. If you will arrive after 17:30, please contact the property in advance. For arrivals after 18:30, dinner may not be available.

We preserve our wooden building structure, which means there are many stairs and may be inconvenient for guests with mobility difficulties. Please consider this before booking or consult with us.

The entire facility is non-smoking. Please use the smoking booth on the 2nd floor.

Yes, you can stay with children. We have rate categories for Child A (elementary school) and Child B (ages 3 to preschool). For children aged 1–2, an infant facility fee of ¥2,200 applies and will be charged separately at the property.

All rooms overlook the Yunishikawa River. We have rooms in the Main Building (special rooms with open-air baths, Japanese-style rooms with semi-open-air baths in Kagamishi stone, etc.) and the Juunihitoe Building (primarily single and two-room Japanese-style rooms). All rooms offer views of the river gorge.

The water is weakly alkaline simple spring water (rich in metasilicic acid, known as skin-beautifying hot spring water) from the original source of Yunishikawa Onsen, served as source-fed. We have three types of baths: an open-air bath, an indoor public bath, and three private open-air baths named "Hanamangetsu," "Yumeyoru-bune," and "Kimimatsu-zuki." Benefits include relief of muscle pain, skin beautification, and treatment of chronic digestive disorders.

Please book the private open-air bath at the front desk after check-in. We recommend booking early as it is popular.

Dinner is served at the sunken hearth dining hall "Heike-Kakure-kan" in a separate building. You reach this restaurant by crossing the famous vine bridge, where you can enjoy traditional creative kaiseki cuisine while sitting around the charcoal fire and enjoying local sake. The sunken hearth kaiseki is offered from 18:00 with a 2-hour time slot.

We have 50 free parking spaces. No reservation required. During winter (early December to late March), chains or winter tyres are necessary.
