Itamuro Onsen is located in a mountainous area, so there is a possibility of snow and ice in winter. The access from expressways to our inn also includes mountain roads, so we recommend preparing studless tyres or tyre chains for the winter season.

We operate a paid shared shuttle taxi service from Nasushiobara Station. There is an early service (departing at 13:35) and a late service (departing at 16:35), each costing 1,000–2,500 yen per person one-way. Please contact the facility or the Yuko Yuko Reservation Center by the day before if you would like to use this service.

Check-in is 14:00–17:00 (latest 17:30), and check-out is 10:30. Times may vary depending on your plan, so please confirm your booking details.

We offer multi-night plans. From the second night onwards, the menu is at the inn's discretion, but you can enjoy discounted rates. For details, please check our official website or at the time of booking.

Futons are already laid out when you are shown to your room. Futons in Japanese rooms, Japanese-Western rooms, and cottages are for self-service use.

Itamuro Hot Spring has been cherished since ancient times as a "medicinal spring." It is a lukewarm source spring at around 40°C delivered as a constant flow from the source. All hot springs are source fed with constant circulation and available for bathing 24 hours a day. The characteristic mild warmth soothes you gradually from deep within.

Yes, as a "wellness and art inn" we feature contemporary art throughout and around the building, and we operate a permanent gallery dedicated to Kishio Suga, a representative artist of the Mono-ha movement. Guests can enjoy self-guided art tours or popular guided tours with our staff.

We have the Daikokuya Salon (reading room and lounge) and a permanent gallery. You can enjoy leisurely time in the quiet natural surroundings. We also have coin laundry available.

Basically the building is two storeys with no elevator (except Ume Building which has one). If you have difficulty walking, please contact us before your visit.

Meals are served in your room (groups of 5 or more use a private dining area). It is a refined Japanese course using local ingredients. For multi-night stays, all meal content including the main dish from the second night onwards is at the inn's discretion.

We have free parking for approximately 20 cars. We are about 17 km (approximately 20 minutes) from Kurogiso-Itamuro IC on the Tohoku Expressway, and about 22 km from Nishinasushio-Shiobara IC.
