The men's bathing area has a shallow children's bath (30 cm deep, for ages 3-6). There is also Manga Yokocho with 1,000 manga and games, and the karaoke room Kura no Ne, which children enjoy.

When was the inn founded, and what is it like?
It is a long-established inn founded in 1818, one of the first to open at Gero Onsen. Its Japanese garden of 1,100 tsubo and its great open-air bath are its best-known features.

There are separate open-air baths for men and women. Both let you enjoy the seasons: cherry blossom at night in spring, fresh green in summer, autumn leaves and snow in winter. The women's open-air bath is designed so that a mother and child can bathe together.
