Founded in Hakodate Yunokawa Onsen in 1922. In 1954, we had the honor of hosting the Emperor during his tour of Hokkaido. In recent years, we have been ranked as a one-star establishment in the Michelin Guide Hokkaido, making us a prestigious long-established ryokan.

We have a men's large bath called "Tsuki no Yu" (andesite bath) and a women's large bath called "Hana no Yu" (cypress bath). Both feature natural hot spring water from our own source.

We provide flowing hot spring water from our own source on the premises. The spring quality is sodium and calcium chloride (neutral, low-mineral, high-temperature spring). It is colorless and transparent with a smooth texture. You can enjoy the outdoor bath while taking in the panoramic views of Tsugaru Strait and the Shimokita Peninsula.

We serve kaiseki (multi-course Japanese dinner) prepared with the spirit of the tea ceremony's "three ki" (season, utensil, occasion).
