Two bath areas are available on a rotating basis: the "Men's Bath" with black granite indoor bath and rock-arranged open-air bath, and the "Women's Bath" with red granite indoor bath and fragrant hinoki cypress open-air bath. All detached guest rooms have flowing hot spring open-air baths.

Yumura Onsen is said to have been opened by Kōbō Daishi approximately 1,200 years ago and was also known as a "secret hot spring" of Takeda Shingen. It is an alkaline hot spring with a pleasant temperature ideal for long soaks, effective for neuralgia, muscle pain, and fatigue recovery.
