What is the history of Ogawa Hot Spring?
Ogawa Hot Spring was opened in 1617 (the 3rd year of Genwa) and has over 400 years of history. It has been loved as the 'spring for fertility' and 'spring for recuperation,' and continues to flow steadily to this day. As a single inn near the Niigata Prefecture border nestled in the quiet of a mountain village, it has long been cherished by many guests seeking hot spring therapy.

What are the 'five hot spring baths'?
Our facility offers 5 distinctive baths with different atmospheres for you to enjoy. We have outdoor baths, indoor baths, large communal baths, and more. For details, please contact our front desk or visit our official website.
What is the water quality of the hot spring?
It is a sodium bicarbonate spring—very soft and gentle on the skin. The water warms you thoroughly from deep within your body and is said to be effective for neuralgia, muscle pain, fatigue recovery, and cold sensitivity. You can enjoy 100% natural hot spring water straight from the source.

Can I do a longer therapeutic stay?
We offer room-only plans and a "mini fasting hot spring therapy" plan focused on bathing. You can enjoy a leisurely recuperative stay in our soft, sodium bicarbonate-rich hot water. Extended stays are welcome.
