About 10 minutes' walk. The Sunday Market and Hirome Market are also within a 10-minute walk, making the inn very convenient for sightseeing.
How do I get there from Kochi Station by train or bus?
About 25 minutes' walk from JR Kochi Station, or take a Tosaden Kotsu bus or tram to Kenchomae and walk 5 minutes. By taxi it is about 10 minutes from Kochi Station.

There is a bar on site serving drinks and light meals. From Shiromi Yagura you can look out at Kochi Castle lit up at night.

What are the qualities of the hot spring?
It is the only natural hot spring to have been tapped within Kochi City, a sodium chloride spring. You can enjoy it at Yudono Suisaikaku, a full hot spring facility with an open-air bath, a large communal bath and a sauna, in a fine setting overlooking the clear Kagami River and Mount Hitsuzan.

The grounds contain the Shimoyashiki Nagaya, a two-storey structure designated an Important Cultural Property of Japan, which overnight guests may visit freely. It is a valuable building conveying the history of the late Edo period.
Can I visit the Japanese garden?
Overnight guests may stroll freely in the grounds of the Japanese garden of about 3,000 tsubo (roughly 10,000 square metres). It is a historic garden with a muku tree estimated to be 600 years old and black and red pines planted to mark a visit by the Showa Emperor.
