Very conveniently, about 2 minutes' walk from the Shirakawa exit of JR Kumamoto Station.
How easy is it to get here by tram?
About 2 minutes' walk from the Kumamoto Ekimae stop on the Kumamoto city tram. From Kumamoto Castle or Shiyakusho-mae it is about 20 minutes (180 yen for adults).
How do I get there from Kumamoto Airport?
About 60 minutes by limousine bus from Kumamoto Airport, alighting at the Kumamoto Ekimae stop, then about 2 minutes' walk. By taxi it is about 45 minutes and around 7,000 yen.
