How do I get there from the nearest station?
About 8 minutes by taxi from Omi-Takashima Station on the JR Kosei Line (about 4 km), or about 10 minutes by taxi from Adogawa Station (about 4.5 km). A shuttle bus also runs from the west exit of Adogawa Station.
What is the route by car?
About 50 minutes from Kyoto-Higashi IC on the Meishin Expressway (about 45 km), or about 50 minutes from Kinomoto IC on the Hokuriku Expressway (about 42 km). Please note that Route 161 is prone to congestion during Golden Week, the summer holidays, the New Year period and three-day weekends.
How long does it take from Kyoto or Osaka?
About 45 minutes from JR Kyoto Station to Adogawa Station on the Kosei Line, then about 10 minutes by taxi. By car it is about 50 minutes from Kyoto-Higashi IC on the Meishin Expressway.
