From in front of JR Tazawako Station on the Akita Shinkansen, take the Ugo Kotsu bus bound for Nyuto Onsen for about 36 minutes and get off at the Alpa Komakusa stop or the next stop, Kamikogen. By car it is about 1 hour from Morioka IC on the Tohoku Expressway via National Routes 46 and 341.
