The hotel is well placed about 2 minutes' walk from JR Takayama Station, and the main sights such as the Miyagawa morning market and the Takayama Jinya are also within walking distance.

Buses to Shirakawa-go run from the Nohi Bus Center in front of Takayama Station. Takayama also makes a good base for Shirakawa-go, the Okuhida hot spring villages and the Norikura Skyline.

Breakfast is a Japanese and Western buffet including hoba miso grilled on a magnolia leaf and other dishes made with local ingredients, giving you a taste of Hida in the morning.
