It is a new resort hotel that opened on Friday 12 September 2025. It belongs to IHG Hotels & Resorts' Holiday Inn Resort brand and is the fourth Holiday Inn Resort in Japan. It is an all-season resort in Kita-Karuizawa at an elevation of 1,300 m, with views of Mount Asama.

There is a hot spring facility drawing natural hot spring water from Gunma Prefecture. You can enjoy the bath while looking out at Mount Asama.

Is there a transfer from Karuizawa Station?
An evening shuttle bus from Karuizawa Station runs on Fridays only (Fridays from 8 May to 20 November, departing Karuizawa Station at 20:30). Please check the official website for other dates. By taxi it is about 50 minutes from Usui-Karuizawa IC.

About 40 minutes by shuttle bus from Karuizawa Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen (an evening shuttle runs on Fridays only; booking required). About 50 minutes from Usui-Karuizawa IC on the Joshin-etsu Expressway via National Route 146. Free parking for about 400 cars.
