It means a hotel where the spatial design, interiors, tableware, furniture and fabrics were all developed jointly with local industry in Masuda and the Iwami region — potteries, furniture makers and textile manufacturers. There is a large communal bath and sauna using natural hot spring water from our own source on the site (a simple spring known for its effect on the skin), flowing continuously from the source. Day-use bathing is also available.
