What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is 15:00 (you may enter the building from 14:30) and check-out is 11:00. Transfers from JR Kaminoyama Onsen Station operate from 14:30.

Are there barrier-free facilities?
There is a lift in the building. A folding bed can also be lent, ramps can be set up, and meals can be served in a private room. Meals for allergies can also be arranged, so please discuss this when booking.

How many rooms are there and what types?
It is an inn with 32 rooms in total, mainly Japanese-style rooms with warm interiors. There are also special room plans, such as Suiyotei, which has a view bath looking out over the Zao mountain range.

Yes, every room has an indoor bath supplied with 100% hot spring water from the source. You can enjoy the hot spring in your room while relaxing in a Japanese-style room with pleasant Ryukyu tatami.

What are the qualities of the hot spring?
It is a calcium and sodium sulphate and chloride spring, fed directly from the source. You can relax in the communal bath and the open-air bath. Every room's indoor bath is also supplied with 100% hot spring water from the source.

Are there sightseeing spots nearby?
Kaminoyama Castle is about 3 minutes by car, Lina World about 6 minutes and Takeda Winery about 11 minutes, making sightseeing convenient. Access to Zao Onsen and central Yamagata is also good, so it works well as a base.

Is there a transfer from Kaminoyama Onsen Station?
We provide a free transfer from JR Kaminoyama Onsen Station. Transfers run 14:30-18:00, and you need to inform us of your arrival time in advance.

What is the food like?
We offer plans where you can savour the chef's finest Yamagata cuisine. Kaiseki menus using local ingredients including Yamagata beef, and a full meat course (with a private-room plan available), are popular.

There is an outdoor car park with 50 spaces (free, first come, first served). A car park attendant will direct you. Please consult us if you are coming by motorcycle.
