Is there a pick-up from Kameoka Station?
There is a free pick-up service from JR Kameoka Station (booking essential). Pick-ups leave at 14:55, 15:55, 16:55 and 17:55, and returns at 9:00, 10:00 and 11:00. Unbooked services do not run, so please arrange it in advance.

Can I combine a stay with sightseeing in Kyoto?
JR Saga-Arashiyama Station is about 20 minutes away by car, so the inn is a convenient base for Arashiyama. Kameoka is also known for Kyoto vegetables and is the starting point of the Hozugawa river descent.

There are two types: Yama-no-An and the Kihoan rooms with their own free-flowing open-air bath. Each is furnished differently, with Japanese rooms using Kyoto karakami paper and rooms with earthen walls. There are 25 rooms in all.

What is the food like?
Our pride is Kyoto kaiseki using Kyoto vegetables and Tanba ingredients. The dining room Shunzen Zuika offers rice cooked over a traditional okudosan stove paired with Austrian wine. Dinner is served 18:00-21:30.
