Is there a lift?
There is no lift or escalator. The rooms are on the second to fourth floors, so please discuss it with us in advance if stairs are difficult for you.

The whole building is non-smoking. There is a smoking area outside the entrance.

Can I come with children or a large party?
The maximum is 50 guests. The child rate D applies from age 1. As the building is wooden, however, we may ask for consideration about noise. Please contact the property for details.

What room types are there?
There are 17 to 20 rooms, each with a different layout and furnishing. The rooms also hold books left by writers and artists who stayed here, and you can choose according to your party size and purpose.

What kind of hot spring water is it?
We offer Arima's signature kinsen, gold water (an iron-bearing sodium chloride strong saline hot spring), used at 100 per cent without recirculation. It is a reddish-brown water rich in minerals from deep underground, with a powerful feel on the skin.
What kinds of bath are there?
Our speciality is a partly mixed open-air bath where you can take in the scenery of each season. It is a partly mixed style in which faces are visible, and you can enjoy Arima's gold water to the full.

Is there a pick-up service from Arima-Onsen Station?
Call us when you arrive at Arima-Onsen Station on the Kobe Electric Railway and we will come and collect you. The number is 078-904-0551.

What is distinctive about the food?
The menu is sanka ryori, mountain-house cuisine with its roots in the Kamakura period, in which the head chef prepares seasonal Hyogo ingredients and produce from the mountains and the sea with great care. Kobe beef Tajimaguro steak and the spice curry loved by the writer Tanizaki Junichiro are two of our specialities.

We have the Arimasato car park (1229-1 Arimacho, Kita Ward, Kobe City). Until 6 pm an attendant is there and will drive you to the inn.

How do I get there?
About 5 minutes' walk from Arima-Onsen Station on the Kobe Electric Railway. About 30 minutes from Shin-Kobe Station, changing between the subway and the Kobe Electric Railway. Call us when you arrive at Arima-Onsen Station and we will collect you.
