How do I get there by train and bus?
From Seibu-Chichibu Station, take the Ogano Town Bus for about 50 minutes and get off at Yakushidou bus stop, then walk about 5 minutes. From Chichibu Railway Minekawauchi Station, take the Ogano Town Bus for about 20 minutes. From Ikebukuro Station, the Seibu Railway Express Limited takes about 85 minutes to Seibu-Chichibu Station.

How do I get there by car?
From Hanazono IC on the Kan-etsu Expressway, it takes about 1 hour via the Minano-Yorii Bypass to Ryoshin-sou. From the Kofu direction via Route 140, it takes about 1 hour 50 minutes. Parking is free.

Yes, it is ideal as a base for climbing Mount Ryoshin. The area also has many seasonal attractions including the Nagatorogawa River descent, Mitsumine Shrine, Chichibu Shibazakura (moss phlox), weeping cherry blossoms, a dahlia garden, and strawberry picking.

What types of guest rooms are available?
All 40 rooms are either Japanese-style or Western-style. The inn is used by a wide range of guests including tourists, pilgrimage visitors, climbers, and business travelers.

Is this a national inn, so are the rates reasonable?
We have plans starting from around ¥20,900 (including tax) per night for 2 guests. As Saitama's only national inn, we are popular for offering good value with natural hot spring bathing and local cuisine.

What facilities and activities are available?
The inn has a restaurant, banquet hall, meeting rooms, large public bath, outdoor bath, shop, vending machines, coin laundry, table tennis, bicycle rental, and bouldering. In summer, we also offer day trips to nearby Komori River for swimming and firefly viewing, as well as shuttle service to the Dahlia Garden.

Can I use the hot spring for the day?
Day bathing is available. The facility across the way, the roadside station, also has a day-bathing facility called Yakushi-no-Yu. For details about day-use at Ryoshinso, please contact the inn at 0494-79-1221.

What types of open-air baths are available?
There are 2 types of open-air baths: a rock bath and a stone bath, which alternate daily (gender swap at 5:00 AM). You can enjoy views of the Komori River from these spacious open-air baths, and guests particularly appreciate the seasonal beauty of the gorge with fresh greenery and autumn foliage.
What is the spring quality and therapeutic effect of the hot spring?
The natural hot spring is "Ryoshin Onsen Susuki-no-yu" with a pH of 9.1, strongly alkaline. The mineral composition includes 1,027 mg/kg evaporation residue, fluoride ions and metaboric acid. It is famous as a "beauty bath" for its smooth, silky feel. It has many repeat visitors and is a popular spring.

We specialize in homestyle local cuisine featuring local ingredients. Dishes include Bushu wagyu sukiyaki, local vegetable bagna cauda, and clay-pot-cooked Chichibu rice—all homemade meals featuring abundant local bounty.
