What kind of hot spring is the Ohno open-air bath?

A mixed-gender large outdoor bath where you can enjoy the milky-white waters of Shirahone Onsen. You can take in seasonal scenery throughout the year—cherry blossoms in spring, fresh greenery in summer, autumn foliage in fall, and snow-viewing in winter. Because the water is milky-white, the interior of the bath cannot be seen, making it comfortable for couples and groups.

What measures make the co-ed Ohno open-air bath easier for women to use?

Guests wear thick bath towels while bathing. Additionally, there is a dedicated women's changing room with direct access to the bath, allowing guests to enter the co-ed Ohno open-air bath while already in the water, so you can use it with peace of mind.

Can I use the day-use bath?

We offer day-use bathing. However, we may close unexpectedly due to boiler fuel issues, bad weather, or scheduled closures. Please call us on the day (0263-93-2101) to confirm availability.
