Is there a shuttle from Hanno Station?
A free shuttle bus departs from the south exit of Hanno Station (reservation required). Buses run 4 times daily at 10:30, 11:45, 15:00, and 16:30. The shuttle stops near the south exit on the right side, just past the Family Mart.

Are there tourist attractions nearby?
Metsä (Moomin Valley Park), a Nordic theme park, is about 30 minutes by car. There is a small stream and waterfall in front of the ryokan, and we also recommend nature experiences at "Wakuwaku no Mori" (opened in 2019), directly operated by Oomatsuakari.

Can families with children stay here?
We accommodate families with children. The standalone rental villa "Humming" has guest rooms with living space, allowing families to relax comfortably. Please check the plans or contact the ryokan for details.

When was it founded? What are its characteristics?
A long-established hot spring ryokan founded in 1914 (Taisho 3). The interior is filled with the warmth of wood, extensively using local Nishikawa timber from Naguri, and the ryokan is characterized by the murmuring of the Naguri valley stream. It is a standalone inn nestled in the nature of Oku-Musashi, about one hour from central Tokyo.

Do you have glamping or separate villa facilities?
We have a glamping facility with dome tents called "Ohruri" and a standalone rental villa "Humming" with sauna and outdoor bath that opened in May 2022. These are popular with guests seeking a luxury stay.

Can I use the facility for day trips or dinner only?
We offer day-trip dinner plans (including a 50-minute private bath) on a seasonal and day-of-week limited basis. Day-trip bathing is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis depending on occupancy. Please contact the ryokan directly for details.

What is the spring water quality?
It is alkaline, low-concentration mineral spring water (simple hot spring). The water is pleasantly warm, allowing you to enjoy long, leisurely soaks. From the observation bath on the top floor of Suimeikan, you can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
Do you have a private bath?
Yes, we do. It is popular with couples and families with small children alike. For details, please inquire at the front desk when making a reservation or after check-in.

What does the meal include?
Kaiseki (multi-course Japanese dinner) carefully selected by our head chef, who won a prefectural award at the prefectural skills competition. The menu features grilled freshwater fish and seasonal dishes using local vegetables. Meals are served at the main building of Oomatsuakari as well as at the directly-managed restaurant "Yama no Chaya."

Free parking is available for 40 cars (first-come, first-served). As the facility is in a mountainous area, roads may freeze in winter. We recommend using studless tires or tire chains.

How do I get there?
From the north exit of Hanno Station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line, take a local bus to "Naguri Kawahashi" bus stop, then walk 5 minutes (approximately 40 minutes total). Free shuttle bus from the south exit of Hanno Station (reservation required, 4 times daily). By car: approximately 40 minutes from Sayama-Hidaka IC.
