We are certified under the Ama-katsu scheme of the Toba City Tourist Association (accommodation and dining categories). We provide information on ama culture, and you can experience the local food culture through our meals.

What sights are there nearby?
Ise Jingu is about 25 minutes by car, and Toba Aquarium and Shima Spain Village are also within reach, making the inn an ideal base for touring Ise-Shima. It stands in an excellent position overlooking Oura Bay along the Pearl Road.

Is there an accommodation tax?
An accommodation tax was introduced in Toba City, Mie Prefecture, on 1 April 2026. It is 200 yen per guest per night, paid on site (children for whom a room charge applies are also liable).

What are the qualities and benefits of the hot spring?
We use two sources of our own from Toba Honura Onsen, Shuko no Yu and Nagomi no Yu. There is an open-air bath, a cascade bath, a jacuzzi, a jet bath and a sauna, and the water is held to help with fatigue and general health.

What is the view from the bathing hall?
The bathing hall Marobine-an is built to look out over a garden of 1,300 tsubo. By day it is bright and open in the sunlight; by night the lamps shimmer on the water for a magical effect.

What is the food like?
The basis is creative cooking making generous use of seasonal seafood from Ise-Shima. We are committed to local ingredients and serve lavish dishes that change with the season. Dishes using Ise spiny lobster are also popular.

How do I get there?
About 25 minutes on the Kamome bus for Ijika Port from Kintetsu or JR Toba Station, alighting at the Honura stop, then about 5 minutes' walk. A free pick-up service runs from Toba Station (advance booking required; departures at 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00). By car, about 25 minutes from Ise IC on the Ise Expressway.
