Is there a pick-up service?
There is a free pick-up from Unazuki-Onsen Station on the Toyama Chiho Railway (about 2 minutes, booking required). Please telephone us.

Standard check-in is 15:00 and check-out is 10:00. Times may differ by plan, so please check your booking.

Are there rooms with an open-air bath?
We have rooms with their own open-air bath fed continuously from the source, so you can take everything from meals to bathing in privacy.
When were the rooms renovated?
The rooms in the main building (Kikutei) were renovated in 2024. There are also special rooms decorated with bespoke washi paper works by Kawahara Takakuni, a Biradani washi craftsman.
What does it mean that you can see the Torokko train from the rooms?
We are the only inn in Unazuki Onsen from whose rooms you can watch the Torokko trains of the Kurobe Gorge Railway. The river-side rooms in particular give you the magnificent gorge and the train all to yourself.

What are the qualities of the hot spring?
Unazuki Onsen is a very weakly alkaline simple spring, colourless and clear, among the most transparent waters in Japan. It is well known as a beautifying bath that leaves the skin smooth, and is gentle enough for women and children.
Is there a private open-air bath?
There are two private open-air baths, Seiryu, in a separate building, where you can have the magnificent view of the Kurobe River to yourself in a space fragrant with hinoki, for a truly private soak.

What sights are there nearby?
The Kurobe Gorge Railway Torokko train, rafting on the Kurobe River and the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route are all popular. The Selene Art Museum and foot baths in the hot spring town are also within walking distance.

What is the food like?
We serve Ecchu kaiseki courses making generous use of seasonal produce from the sea and mountains, including white shrimp, firefly squid and yellowtail from Toyama Bay. Dishes built on local ingredients, such as simmered sea bream head, are our pride.
