By car, about 5 minutes from Yubara IC on the Yonago Expressway, turning right just before the Chugoku Bank and continuing 50 m. By train, about 30-40 minutes by bus from JR Chugoku-Katsuyama Station, alighting at Yubara Onsen, then about 3 minutes' walk.

We close on Tuesdays. Day bathing is not available on Tuesdays. Please check the official website or call us about staying overnight.

Yes, we have rooms with their own open-air bath, such as Japanese-style rooms with a hinoki open-air bath. They are popular, so we recommend booking early.

Day bathing is possible. The bathing hall is 1,000 yen (15:00-20:00) and the private bath 3,000 yen for 45 minutes. It is not available on Tuesdays, our closing day.

The water comes straight from the Yubara Onsen source without recirculation, and the men's and women's bathing halls both have an open-air bath. Some rooms also have their own open-air bath. A private bath is available for a charge (3,000 yen for 45 minutes).

I heard this was once a sake brewery. What is distinctive about it?
We were founded in 1915 as the Yubara sake brewery and continued brewing until 1961. The well in the courtyard has flowed continuously since the brewing days and has never run dry. Sake in a wooden masu cup is served at check-in, and you can taste local sake at the lobby shop.

What is the atmosphere like?
It is an inn with real character, housed in the Japanese-style building of a former sake brewery. There are no ultra-modern facilities, but the food, the hot spring and the warm hospitality have made it a place where many guests return to feel at ease.

Our pride is the kaiseki cuisine of a head chef who has worked here for 50 years. Good sake and good food come together, and courses such as the take kaiseki using seasonal local ingredients are popular. One night with two meals starts at 19,800 yen on weekdays (excluding tax).
