What is the distance and access from Nagatoro Station?
We are conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from Chichibu Railway's Nagatoro Station. From JR Takasaki Line Kumagaya Station, take a connecting train on the Chichibu Railway for approximately 50 minutes. By car, take the Kanetsu Expressway Hanazono IC and head toward Nagatoro on Route 140, approximately 20 km (about 25 minutes).

Do you offer a shuttle service?
We offer shuttle service for groups of 10 or more by reservation. For individual guests, it is a 3-minute walk from Nagatoro Station, so you can walk directly from the station.

Where can I board the Nagatoro Gorge line boat?
The boat landing is a 1-minute walk from Choseikan. On the Arakawa line boat tour, you can enjoy the Nagatoro rock formation and natural scenery with guidance from the boatman.
How do I get to Hotosan Shrine?
Hotosan Shrine is within walking distance from Choseikan (about 10–15 minutes). The inn is located in an area where Nagatoro's main sightseeing spots are concentrated, and you can reach the Hotosan Ropeway and Nagatoro Iwatadami on foot as well.

How many guest rooms do you have and what types are available?
We have 22 rooms total. In addition to Japanese-style rooms (12 tatami on the 1st floor, 10 tatami on the 2nd floor, etc.), we offer larger rooms with 20 tatami plus a 6 tatami adjoining room, and Western-style twin rooms (36 sq m) with views of the Nagatoro Gorge and Iwatataumi rock formation.

What kind of views do the guest rooms have?
All guest rooms face the garden and Arakawa River, offering spectacular views of the "Nagatoro Gorge and Iwatataumi" rock formation, a nationally designated scenic site and natural monument. Some rooms have a spacious moonviewing terrace on the balcony and a private ceramic open-air bath.

The large bath features water treated with bamboo vinegar essence (concentrated nutrients from bamboo). The open-air bath overlooks the Nagatoro Gorge scenery, and in autumn you can enjoy the autumn foliage.
