How do I get there?
About 8 minutes by taxi from Kyoto Tango Railway Kumihama Station. By car: approximately 30 minutes from Kyoto Chuo Expressway Kyotango-Omiya IC. From JR Fukuchiyama Line Toyooka Station, transfer to Kyoto Tango Railway bound for Kumihama, get off at Kumihama Station, then take a taxi.

What are the nearby tourist attractions?
The peaceful coastline of Kumihama Bay and Kumihama Bay, famous for oyster farming, are nearby. In summer you can enjoy melon-picking experiences at the sand dunes. Kumihama is also designated as a National Health Resort Hot Spring by the Ministry of the Environment.

We serve hearty creative kaiseki (multi-course Japanese dinner) made with fresh seafood and mountain ingredients from Kumihama. You can enjoy premium ingredients unique to the 'Sea of Kyoto'. In summer, seasonal ingredients such as Kumihama sand dune melons also appear on the menu.
