How do I get to Shuzenji hot spring town?
Our facility is located in the center of Shuzenji hot spring town, within walking distance of Chikurin no Komichi (bamboo grove path), Shuzenji temple, and walking paths along the Katsuragawa River. From Shuzenji Station by bus, get off at "Shuzenji Onsen" (final stop) and walk about 3 minutes.

What does it mean to be registered as a national tangible cultural property?
15 buildings on the premises are designated as registered tangible cultural properties by the nation. The "Tenpyo Daidai Yoku-do" in particular is a historic structure completed over 3 years starting in 1931, and its all-hinoki (cypress) bathhouse is regarded as the finest of its kind in Japan.

What types of hot springs are available?
All springs are sourced directly from the source (alkaline simple hot spring, pH 8.5). There are 6 bathing areas throughout the facility: large baths "Tenpyo Daidai Yoku-do" and "Ayame no Yu", open-air bath "Komorebi no Yu", outdoor bath "Orisetsu no Yu Setsuka", and private baths "Suiren" and "Hisui".

What kind of food is served?
We serve seasonal kaiseki (multi-course Japanese dinner) featuring fresh seafood and mountain vegetables, changing monthly for both dinner and breakfast. We are proud to serve fresh wasabi (horseradish) from Naka-Izu, freshly grated in your room. All meals use locally-produced organic specially-cultivated rice "Katsuryu Koshihikari".

There is a free parking lot with 50 spaces for regular vehicles and 3 spaces for large vehicles (with 2 EV charging stations). Reservation is not required.
