What is the cancellation policy?
Same-day cancellation or no-show without notice: 100% of accommodation charges. Cancellation the day before: 20% of accommodation charges. For details, please check your booking plan.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 15:00, check-out is 10:00. The large bath is available from 15:00–23:00 on arrival day and 6:00–9:00 the following morning.

Is there a lift?
The inn has stairs only and no lift. We apologise for the inconvenience and ask you to note this before you arrive.

Is it convenient for the Mount Tsukuba ropeway?
The inn stands at Tsutsujigaoka, where the ropeway starts, so it is a very short walk. Guests also receive half-price vouchers for the Mount Tsukuba cable car and ropeway.

Yes, all three room types (Japanese, Western and Japanese-Western) look out over the magnificent Kanto plain. The panorama from about 550 m up is striking.

Yes, we offer day-use bathing and combination plans with meals (reservation required; room use is available for 3 hours between 11:00–15:00). For details, please contact the facility.

What hot springs and open-air baths are available?
We have an open-air bath with views called "Tenku no Yu" (Sky Bath), where you can bathe while overlooking Lake Kasumigaura and the Tsukuba Research and Academic Park. In the evening you can enjoy the night view sparkling like jewels, and in the morning you can see the sunrise from Lake Kasumigaura.

What food can I enjoy?
We serve creative Japanese cuisine on the theme of local produce, prepared with pride by our head chef. There are also seasonal menus using Ibaraki produce such as Tsukuba chicken, a branded bird raised in Tsukuba.

Is there parking, and is there a charge?
There is parking for 50 cars, free and with no booking needed. As it lies within a paid car park, we validate the ticket for you, so please bring your parking ticket if you come by car.

From Tsukuba Station on the Tsukuba Express, take the Tsukubasan shuttle bus for about 50 minutes (get off at the final stop, Tsutsujigaoka). From Tsuchiura-Kita IC on the Joban Expressway, via the Tsukuba Skyline, about 40 minutes.
