Do I need to be careful about road conditions in winter?
Roads may freeze in winter. If you are coming by car, please fit winter tyres. We also recommend checking the latest road conditions in advance.
Is there a pick-up service?
We collect guests from the Tsunagi Onsen bus stop. If you let us know, the inns of Tsunagi Onsen have vehicles waiting for the bus arrivals, with scheduled waits at 15:27 and 17:27. For other times, please contact the inn directly.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is 15:00-19:00 and check-out is 10:00. Dinner starts at 19:30 at the latest, so please contact us in advance if you will be delayed.

What is distinctive about the hot spring?
We use water from Tsunagi Onsen, which has 900 years of history, in a bathing hall looking onto the courtyard and an open-air bath with seasonal views. In the clear air, the water warms you right through.

What sights are there nearby?
Morioka Handi-Works Square is about 5 minutes by car, Koiwai Farm about 15 minutes, and the Iwate Bank Red Brick Building in central Morioka about 30 minutes. There is also pleasant walking around Lake Gosho.

What room types are there?
There are 22 rooms: Japanese-style rooms of 8, 10 and 12 tatami mats and Japanese rooms with beds. Small in scale, they are calm and purely Japanese in style.

What is the food like?
The basis is a kaiseki course that changes each month, using seasonal ingredients such as fresh fish from the Sanriku coast and Iwate beef. Meals are normally served in the banquet room, though depending on the day they may be served in your room.

How do I get there?
Take the bus from JR Morioka Station, alight at Tsunagi Onsen and walk about 8-10 minutes. We collect guests from the Tsunagi Onsen bus stop (please telephone). About 20 minutes from Morioka IC on the Tohoku Expressway via Route 46.
