How do I get there from Morioka Station?
About 15 minutes by taxi from the taxi rank in front of Morioka Station. By bus, take the Morioka-Yamagishi line from bay 11 of the Morioka Station bus terminal, get off at Chuo Kominkan-mae and walk 5 minutes (about 15 minutes in total).

What is the atmosphere and style of the hotel?
It is a classic hotel that opened in 1963 to receive Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress and has served as a kind of state guest house for Iwate. With a history and standing that has welcomed members of the Imperial family, former prime ministers and other VIPs, it stands on a small hill surrounded by greenery, offering quiet and special time.
