About 3 minutes' walk from Nagatoro Station on the Chichibu Railway. The Iwadatami-dori shopping street and Kitazakura-dori are also within 3 minutes, a very convenient location for sightseeing.

There are separate open-air baths and large communal baths for men and women. Every room faces the Arakawa River and the Nagatoro gorge, so you can bathe with the same restful view people have enjoyed for a century.

There is free parking for 50 vehicles, on a first-come basis, with a third car park also within walking distance.

There are 22 rooms, including Western twin rooms and Japanese rooms of 12 mats or more looking out on the Nagatoro gorge and the Iwadatami rock terraces. Every room faces the Arakawa River.

From 18,000 yen including tax for one night with two meals, varying by room type, season and number of guests. Day-use lunches are also available from 3,000 yen including tax.

Our Japanese cuisine, making generous use of seasonal local ingredients, is very popular. The restaurant Iwazakura offers dining with a view over the Nagatoro gorge.
How easy is it to reach nearby attractions?
The inn's garden leads directly to the Iwadatami rock terraces, a designated place of scenic beauty and natural monument, and to the boarding point for the river boat trips. Hodosan Shrine is also within walking distance, making this an ideal base for Nagatoro.
Is there a bathing tax?
From 1 April 2025 we charge a bathing tax of 150 yen per adult guest, in addition to the room rate.
When was the inn founded? Tell me about its history.
It was founded in 1912 and has grown alongside Nagatoro's history as a tourist destination for more than a century. It received the Rakuten Travel Gold Award in 2022.
