Buses to Kamikochi and Norikura run from the Hirayu Onsen bus terminal, about 5 minutes' walk away. Hirayu Onsen is a very convenient base for sightseeing in Okuhida.

Children for whom a child rate is charged are served a children's meal. Individual dishes can also be arranged for a fee, so please enquire if you would like this.

There are four types: an 8-tatami Japanese-style room, a 10-tatami Japanese-style room, the 12-tatami special room Shizuku with a hot spring bath fed directly from the source, and the special room Hibiki (10 tatami plus 6 tatami) with the same. The special rooms have their own cypress bath.

Hirayu Onsen has the longest history in the Okuhida hot spring area and boasts an abundant flow. The water, drawn generously from the Yunotaira spring and fed directly from the source, warms you thoroughly and is said to help with neuralgia, recovery from fatigue and poor circulation.

We ask that you do not bring your own food or drink during meal times, but you may eat and drink elsewhere. Please check with the front desk for details.

Both dinner and breakfast are served in private rooms in the dining area, so you can eat at your leisure without concern. We serve Japanese cuisine making the most of seasonal Okuhida ingredients.
