How do I get there from Yonezawa Station?
About 26 minutes by Yamako bus from JR Yonezawa Station, or about 18-20 minutes by car from Yonezawa-Chuo IC on the Tohoku-Chuo Expressway. From Tokyo Station, Yonezawa Station is about 2 hours 10 minutes by Yamagata Shinkansen. Please note that the inn does not run a shuttle bus.

It is a small detached-style inn with 22 to 26 rooms. Every room is an atmospheric Japanese room looking out on the pond. Plans with a room with its own open-air bath are also available.

What are the qualities of the hot spring?
It is a sodium chloride spring first tapped 1,200 years ago, a beauty bath with the scent of sulphur, used at 100 per cent from the source. Known as water like a lotion for the skin, it draws hot spring enthusiasts from across Japan. There are two bathing halls, Seseragi and Asamidori.

What is the food like?
We serve kaiseki cuisine built around Yonezawa beef, one of Japan's three great wagyu. Popular plans include the Gyuniku Zanmai set with a choice of main dish, and Yonezawa beef sukiyaki or shabu-shabu. Dinner can also be served in your room.
