How do I get there from Hakata?
About 50 minutes by express bus from Hakata (towards Hita), alighting at the Haki bus stop, then about 5 minutes by car. It is also about 6 minutes by car from Haki IC, so access is good.
Is there a pick-up service?
There is a free shuttle to JR Chikugo-Yoshii Station and the Haki bus stop on the express bus route to Hita. Booking is required by 3 days before your stay (some information says the day before).

Day bathing is available 9:30-20:00 (last entry 19:00). The charge is 600 yen for adults on weekdays and 800 yen at weekends and on the day before a holiday. There are also day plans with a meal and a rest (booking required).

What kinds of bath are there?
There is an indoor bath, an open-air bath and a family (private) bath. The family bath is a ceramic tub fed straight from the source.
What are the qualities of the hot spring?
The water is used at 100 per cent straight from the source, and there are two kinds: an alkaline simple spring and a simple sulphur spring. The water is on the cool side, with fine carbonated bubbles enveloping the body, and it leaves the skin smooth afterwards, earning it the name the double beautifying bath.

Every room has a sweeping view of the great Chikugo River. The sun setting over the river in the evening is a magnificent sight not to be missed.
