Do you offer free shuttle service from Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal?
We offer free shuttle service from Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal to our facility. Please call us (0279-88-0011) when you arrive at the terminal. During busy times, there may be a slight wait for pickup.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is 15:00–17:00 and check-out is 10:00. Parking is available from 12:00 (noon) on the check-in day. Times may vary depending on your plan.

Are there guest rooms with a view of the Yubatake?
We have 23 limited rooms in the main building with views of the Yubatake. These are very popular rooms, so we recommend booking early.

Do you have a lounge or common areas?
The main building has a spacious rest area overlooking the Yubatake where you can enjoy complimentary coffee and tea. Vending machines for wine and sake are also available (special coins sold at the front desk). Coloured kimono rentals are available for a fee.
Do you have massage or spa services?
We have a shiatsu and foot reflexology service on the 5th floor of the annex. Please feel free to use it after warming up in the hot spring.

What hot springs and baths do you have?
Our large public bath, renovated in August 2021, features two hot spring sources from Kusatsu Onsen. You can enjoy the flowing waters of "Shirohata Spring" (pH 2.06, with a milky white color and sulphur aroma) and "Bandai Mineral Spring" (pH 1.70, with a garden-style open-air bath).
If I have a tattoo, can I use the hot spring?
We do not allow guests with tattoos or tattooed areas to use the large public bath or open-air baths. For details, please contact our front desk.

Is Yubatake or Kusatsu Onsen town nearby?
Yubatake is right in front of the main building, about a 1-minute walk. You can enjoy shopping for souvenirs and exploring the onsen town in your ryokan yukata. Our souvenir center on the first floor has Kusatsu's largest retail floor space.

What are your meal options?
For dinner, you can choose between two options: "Yugumo", a buffet featuring Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes with a live kitchen serving Josan beef steak and roast beef; or "Kimi-no Roman", a Japanese set course in a Taisho-era style dining room. Breakfast is served buffet-style.

Is there a parking lot?
We have a parking lot. Vehicles up to 2.8m in height park free (guests only). For vehicles 2.8m or taller, please contact our reservation desk (0279-88-0011) in advance. Parking hours are from 12:00 (noon) on the check-in day to 12:00 (noon) on the check-out day.

How do I get there?
From JR Agatsuma Line Naganohara-Kusatsu-guchi Station, take the JR bus toward Kusatsu Onsen for approximately 25 minutes to Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal, then a 5-minute walk. Complimentary shuttle available from the bus terminal (advance notice required).
