How do I get there?
From Okayama Station, take the Chuttetsu highway bus to Chugoku-Katsuyama Station, then a community bus to Yubara Onsen bus stop. Free shuttle service is available from JR Kurayoshi Station, Maniwa City Hall, Anagamo Highway Bus Stop, and Yubara Onsen-guchi (advance reservation required via official website or phone only). By car, it's a straight road from Yubara IC to the hot spring town.
Is there access from Okayama Airport?
From Okayama Airport, please use a rental car or shared taxi (4,500 yen, advance reservation required by 5:00 PM the previous day). After arriving at Maniwa City Hall, we offer a shuttle service with prior notice (limited to once daily, reservation required).

What is Sunayuu and where is it located?
Sunayuu is a free outdoor bath representing Yubara Onsen, recognized as the grand champion in the West in the national ranking of outdoor baths. It is positioned directly across the Asahi River from Hakkei. Its name comes from hot spring water gushing from the riverbed while spurting up sand. It is just a short walk from the accommodation.

Our hot spring has soft, gentle water that is kind to the skin, so even babies can bathe safely.

What types of rooms are available?
We offer Japanese-style rooms, Western-style rooms, and rooms with private outdoor baths. All rooms provide a comfortable space where you can enjoy nature right from your window.

Can I use the baths for the day?
Day-use bathing is available in two sessions: 11:30–14:00 (last admission 13:30) and 18:00–21:00 (last admission 20:30). Fees are ¥1,000 for adults and ¥500 for children (includes face towel). Day-use bathing is not available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, on closed days, or the morning after a closed day.

Is there a sauna?
Yes, we have a sauna. Our private sauna is popular, and many guests enjoy it together with our cold water bath.
What kinds of baths are available?
You can enjoy 'Kawa no Yu' (River Bath) overlooking the Asahi River with the sound of the rapids, 'Sora no Yu' (Sky Bath, private spa) with starry sky views from a location close to the mountains and sky, as well as a large public bath, outdoor bath, private bath, and sauna.

The specialty is mountain village cuisine using over 50 varieties of fresh local vegetables handpicked by the head chef. We focus on generous use of nature's bounty in a way that all guests can enjoy casually.
