How do I get there from Iyo-Ozu Station?
We collect guests from Iyo-Ozu Station by car; please request this when booking. From Tokyo or Osaka the journey takes about 2.5 hours.

Are there activities?
You can enjoy activities on the Hiji River such as river descents and boat trips, a walk round Pokopen Yokocho with its Showa-era items, and cormorant fishing in season. Activities for hotel guests can be booked on the official website.

So that guests can spend their time in comfort, we have chosen each amenity with care, including skincare products made with pure domestic natural silk and high-quality room wear.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is 15:00-20:00 and check-out is 12:00 (midday). Check-in is at the front desk building OKI (378 Ozu, Ozu City, Ehime). Please contact us in advance if you will arrive after 20:00.

Booking online through the official website (ozucastle.com) is the best value. Telephone enquiries are taken on 0120-210-289 (11:00-20:00). Discounted plans exclusive to the official website are also available.

How do I get to Ozu Castle?
Ozu Castle stands directly in front of the hotel and can be reached on foot. You can walk through the historic castle town enjoying the scenery on the way.

Is it enjoyable for children and families?
There is plenty for families, including the history and culture of the castle town and activities on the river. As the buildings are historic, however, we recommend contacting us in advance if you are travelling with young children.

What guest room buildings are there?
There are several distinctive buildings, including OKI, the residence of a merchant who made his fortune in wood wax, the Uraoka Residence (SADA) directly opposite Ozu Castle, and a converted restaurant founded in 1688. Each has its own history and character.

What does a dispersed hotel mean?
NIPPONIA HOTEL Ozu Castle Town treats the whole of the old castle town as a single hotel, with the guest rooms, front desk and restaurant spread through the town. Historic buildings such as merchants' houses and storehouses serve as guest room buildings, and after checking in you walk through the town to your room.

The restaurant is in SADA. Breakfast is served in TUNE, a converted restaurant founded in 1688. We serve dishes made with local ingredients.
