Is there a coin laundry?
We have a self-service coin laundry corner (free) in the facility. It's convenient for longer stays and consecutive nights typical of island visits.
Can I use Wi-Fi?
Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.
What kind of meals are offered?
Dinner is served as French cuisine at the beachside terrace restaurant or Japanese cuisine at the museum restaurant. Both feature generous use of Seto Inland Sea seafood.
Can I stay with children?
Stays with children are welcome. Baby beds are available for rent. Please note that there may be restrictions to protect artworks inside the facility. Please contact the front desk for details.
How do I access other art facilities on Naoshima?
You can access the Chichu Art Museum, Lee Ufan Museum and others by dedicated shuttle bus or rental bicycle. A free shuttle bus also operates within Naoshima.
Do you have restaurants or cafés?
We offer French cuisine at our beachside terrace restaurant, and Japanese cuisine at our museum restaurant with views of the Seto Inland Sea and contemporary art. We also have a café and shop on the premises.
Do you have a spa or activity facilities?
We have an esthetic salon (spa) within the hotel. You can also enjoy art appreciation and cycling in the rich natural surroundings of Naoshima.
How do I get there?
Ferry from Takamatsu Port approximately 50 minutes (to Miyaura Port), or ferry from Uno Port approximately 20 minutes (to Miyaura Port). Free shuttle service available from Miyaura Port (fixed schedule).

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 15:00 onwards, check-out is at 11:00. For guests staying at Park Beach, the check-in location is Park Front. If you arrive on Naoshima after 19:15, a dedicated vehicle will be arranged for you.
How do I get to Naoshima?
Ferry from Takamatsu Port to Naoshima (Miyaura Port) takes approximately 50 minutes, or approximately 20 minutes from Uno Port. From Takamatsu Station, it's about a 5-minute walk to Takamatsu Port. A free shuttle bus operates on a fixed schedule from Miyaura Port to Benesse House.
What are the differences between the four buildings (Museum, Oval, Park, and Beach)?
Museum allows you to stay inside an art museum. Oval lets you enjoy spectacular views of the Seto Inland Sea. Park surrounds you with sea, greenery, and art. Beach wraps you in the sound of gentle waves. All buildings are designed by architect Tadao Ando.
Can non-guests visit the museum?
Benesse House Museum is open to non-guests as well. However, guests enjoy special benefits such as evening viewing hours. Please check the official website for details.
Is there a parking lot?
We have a parking lot with 35 spaces. There is no height restriction.
