How do I get to Shodoshima?
The convenient route is the ferry from Takamatsu Port to Tonosho Port, about 60 minutes. From Kobe Port the Jumbo Ferry takes about 3 hours, and from Himeji Port the Shodoshima Kyuko ferry reaches Fukuda Port in about 1 hour 40 minutes. Travel overland to Takamatsu, Okayama or Himeji and then take a ferry.

Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 10:00. Parking and luggage storage are available before check-in and after check-out.

Telephone bookings are taken 9:00-17:30. We are closed from 21:00 to 8:00 the following morning. Online booking is also available.

Is there a pool?
There is a pool in an open setting with the Seto Inland Sea spread out in front. As well as the main pool and a diving pool, there is a children's pool suitable for young children.

Is there a hot spring or open-air bath?
There is an open-air bath using the natural water of Shodoshima Onsen. Bathing under the night sky with the spray of the waves and the sound of the sea is something special. There is also a large communal bath.

What sightseeing spots are nearby?
Angel Road, the lovers' sanctuary adjoining the hotel, the Maze Town and the Dofuchi Strait are all within walking distance. The island also has Kankakei Gorge, one of Japan's three great gorges, the Olive Park and the Twenty-Four Eyes Movie Village.

Is there a shuttle from Tonosho Port?
A free shuttle minibus collects guests from Tonosho Port. Advance booking is required, so please contact the hotel when you book or before you arrive.

Yes, every room has an ocean view. From the windows you can see the many islands of the Seto Inland Sea, the sweep of Yashima in Shikoku, and Angel Road, known as a lovers' sanctuary.

What food is served?
We serve Japanese kaiseki cuisine using carefully chosen seasonal ingredients: seasonal seafood from the Seto Inland Sea and Shodoshima's famous soy sauce and somen noodles. A family buffet is also offered for limited periods.

Parking is free for hotel and restaurant guests, with space for about 60 cars and about 16 coaches. Other visitors pay 200 yen for a car and 1,000 yen for a coach.
