How do I get there from JR Kumamoto Station?
Take a local bus and get off at the Kikunan Onsen stop (about 35-40 minutes), then walk about 5 minutes; or take a taxi, about 25 minutes. From Kumamoto Airport it is about 35 minutes by car or taxi.

What kind of hot spring water is it?
It is a hydrogen carbonate (sodium bicarbonate) spring, a smooth water known as a beautifying bath. The large bathing halls, separate for men and women, have rock baths with a generous flow of water. The baths in the rooms also use hot spring water.

Is there a day-use hot spring facility?
You can use Agannasse, the large day-use hot spring and spa resort next door. Guests on the standard plan get one free visit (it closes for maintenance at times, so please check).
Is there a stone sauna or a dry sauna?
At Agannasse next door you can use the Korean-style low-temperature sauna jjimjilbang and the stone sauna.

Yes, we host weddings and banquets. The banquet rooms include a Western-style room (494 m2, up to 200 people) and a Japanese-style room (99 tatami mats, up to 100 people).

We serve creative kaiseki courses using seasonal ingredients, including Kumamoto horse sashimi. There are also banquet rooms (Western-style for up to 200 people, Japanese-style for up to 100).
