What is the nearest station and how far is the walk?
About 3 minutes' walk from Hakone-Yumoto Station on the Hakone Tozan Railway. From Shinjuku the Odakyu Romancecar reaches Hakone-Yumoto in about 90 minutes, then 3 minutes on foot, so access is excellent.
How convenient is it for the sights of Hakone?
From Hakone-Yumoto Station the Hakone Tozan Railway and buses make it easy to reach the Hakone Open-Air Museum, Gora Park, Lake Ashi and Owakudani. The Yumoto hot spring town is also within walking distance.

What hot spring facilities are there?
We have Yumoto Onsen, the oldest of the seventeen hot springs of Hakone. The bathing area Soun offers a range of settings: an open-air bath, spacious bathing halls for men and women, private baths and a low-temperature sauna.
Do the private baths need booking?
The private baths can be used in seclusion. Please contact the hotel directly or ask at the front desk at check-in about booking and availability.

Can I choose between French and Japanese for dinner?
You can choose between a French course keeping the traditions of the Fujiya Hotel and a sushi course recommended by our chefs, using seafood and seasonal ingredients.
What restaurants are there?
There is a wide range: Japanese cuisine, sushi kaiseki, French, Chinese, an izakaya, a bar and a tea room. The French restaurant keeps the traditional flavours of the Fujiya Hotel while using delicate local ingredients.
